The Iran Municipalities and Rural Management Organization with the participation of the Iranian Society of Landscape Professions (ISLAP) will hold the first international and the fourth national conference on Urban Landscape and Green Space in Arid and Semi Arid Regions-Challenges and policies, with the objective of providing the latest achievements in scientific research and implementation of urban landscape and green space and exchange of knowledge among the Iranians and international experts.
Professors, researchers and experts are invited to submit their papers and essays on their experiences and studies in conformity with the climate condition of Iran.
The essays relevant to the topic of the conference should relate to the following topics:
- Climate limitations and design for bioclimatic comfort
- Soil and Water (quantitative and qualitative) limitation
- Creating urban landscape in accordance with the land capacities
- Estimation of required green space per capita
- Landscape ordinances and standards
- Urban Landscape integrated management practices
Authors are invited to submit their abstract (up to 600 words) in Word format (.doc) and Arial font, size14.
