The International Federation of Interior Designers (IFI) and the global community commemorates Saturday, May 25, 2013, as World Interiors day in the 50th anniversary for the interiors community across the world.

World Interior Day is an annual event spearheaded by IFI and designed to spotlight Interior Architecture/Design. The event actively engages professionals, national organizations, design enthusiasts and the general public to explore creativity, imagination, vision and passion in relation to the role of Interior Architecture/Design in society, culture and the future environments.

The month of May plays host to events highlighting the merits of the Interiors profession and the impact on the quality of life and the built environment. Events are planned by individuals and hosted all over the world, linked by a common theme chosen each year to reflect the values of not only IFI but the industry as a whole.
